Tree Fern Walk
The walk runs along Youxi Valley at the center of the Garden. The starting point is near the Tree Fern Pond, and the ending point is on the south side of the Palm Lawn. It is about 300 m long and the atmosphere is quiet and shady. Most of the walk goes through dense secondary forest. It twists and turns across both sides of the stream. Hundreds of plants live in there. Stream water, dead branches, and fallen leaves provide a variety of habitats for other types of organisms and are full of vitality. Here, you can watch the Zen-filled bryophytes, the tall tree ferns, the fig trees shading the sun......You can see harmony and competition for survival. Due to rugged and slippery trail and occasional snakes and insects, for safety considerations, this trail is only open to guided tours and nature education activities.
