Zhuang Pavilion
Located along the Azalea Walk on the west bank of the Fairy Lake, Zhuang Pavilion is small
and exquisite with a wide view to the Aquatic Garden on the opposite of Fairy Lake and Mount Wutongshan.
Every year after the New Year Day, the leaves of Bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) on the
opposite bank turn reddish gold, which forms a fascinating and multi-layered contrast with the white
walls and yellow tiles of the boat house, the turquoise lake, and the green mountains.
