Botanists’ Memorial Garden
The Botanists’ Memorial Garden, below the Sightseeing Pavilion, has 10 statues of pioneers
of Chinese botany, forestry and botanical gardens. This garden is beautiful and solemn, and tourists can
show their respect to these botanical pioneers, but also help themselves to better understand botanical
history in China. A holly tree, Ilex rotunda, was planted by Prof. Siu Ying Hu in the garden.
