Magnolia Collection
The Magnolia Collection is on the west and south slopes of Paradise Lawn. In total, about
130 species in 11 genera of Magnoliaceae are protected ex situthere, of which more than 30 species are
on national Red List, including Manglietiastrum sinicum, Manglietia megaphylla and
Michelia odora. The Magnolia Collection is divided into four sections: Magnolia area,
Manglietia area, Michelia area, and an area dedicated to hybrids. A fascinating trail,
Magnolia Walk, goes across the entire Magnolia Collection.
